Everything is ready for the XIII edition of the traditional Tomás Mercedes Birthday Tournament, an event to be held on Sunday, December 18 of this year at the Punta Blanca Golf and Beach Club, in Punta Cana.
The event, one of the most anticipated for golfers in the country, will be played in the Stableford modality, announced golfer Tomás Mercedes, the honoree, in a press release.
“As every year we expect about 100 golfers who always support our event,” said Mercedes, who added that the tournament is held to share with friends, special guests and family “in a healthy and fun environment.”
In the last event, Jensen Martínez was the champion of the Tomás Mercedes Birthday Tournament.
The tournament, which will start by Shotgun at 10 in the morning, will again have the technical direction and rules of William Melo and Joaquín Montero (Quino). Angelina Taveras will coordinate the activities protocol.
The categories to be played are: A, B, C and Checkers.
The event will have special prizes such as: longest drive between both branches, most accurate drive and approach to the flag.
