Xiaomi will release the Xiaomi 12 series in the coming months and it appears that the company is working to incorporate improvements to the camera.
Apparently Xiaomi is testing a 5-axis stabilization similar to what the OPPO announced a few months ago.
According to the popular Digital Chat Station leaker, Xiaomi is testing new video stabilization hardware for its phones.

The hardware level anti-vibration technology tested by the grain factory is somewhat similar to the green factory, similar to the sensor displacement coordinated anti-vibration.– Digital chat station (@chat_station) October 14, 2021
Expectations are that this stabilization system is better than Vivo’s gimbal camera technology, which we were able to test on the Vivo X60 Pro.
The leak confirms that this feature is quite similar to what its Chinese rival, OPPO, is preparing.
The details of Xiaomi’s technology implementation remain unclear, but the Digital Chat Station confirms that it will use lens and sensor movements to achieve a 5-axis effect.
It’s not known which Xiaomi phones will offer the feature, but the Xiaomi 12 Ultra looks like a clear candidate.
