The United States blocked a statement in the United Nations Security Council condemning Algeria after more than a hundred Palestinians died in an Israeli attack while waiting to receive a humanitarian convoy in Gaza City, northern Gaza Strip Help was waiting. It’s not the first time a conviction has been blocked
The United States has previously blocked several calls for a ceasefire in Gaza, the target of an Israeli military offensive following the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks.
Gaza authorities have denounced an Israeli army “massacre” in which people were attacked as they crowded next to a convoy of trucks arriving with food. The Palestinian Authority, for its part, condemned the “cruel massacre” and stressed that “it is an integral part of the occupying government’s genocidal war against our people.”
The Israeli army, instead, has attributed most of the casualties to a stampedethereby limiting the number of people shot by their own troops to around ten.
