The US Supreme Court agrees to decide whether Trump can be charged with election interference

The Supreme Court agreed this Friday to decide whether former Republican President Donald Trump (2017-2021) can do so be charged with election interference in the 2020 presidential election or if he enjoys immunity.

Oral arguments in the case will begin in late April, according to CNN.

The question of presidential immunity has become a stumbling block in the various cases the US Justice Department has pending against Trumpand particularly in Washington DC for attempting to overturn the 2020 result when he lost the election to Democrat Joe Biden.
