Washington: The United States has been forced to kneel before China. The Biden administration has clarified its war policy against its biggest rival, China.

According to a foreign news agency, US Secretary of State Anthony Blankenship told the Asia Society that the United States is ready to increase direct relations with China, the United States does not want a new Cold War with China.

Anthony Blanken said the United States does not seek to isolate China from the world economy, but wants Beijing to abide by international law.

“We are not looking for conflicts or a new Cold War, on the contrary, we are both committed to avoiding them,” he said.

“We will compete with China to defend our interests, we will compete with China to build our vision for the future, the United States is committed to the one-China policy, we support the one-China policy,” he added.

Under former US President Donald Trump’s administration, US-China relations have reached their lowest point in decades and have deteriorated further under current President Joe Biden.

In March, Chinese spokesman Zhang Ye-sui told a news conference that the United States’ view of China as a rival would only damage China-US mutual trust and cooperation.

The spokesman said that the strong relations between China and the United States are conducive to the development of both countries and the maintenance of international peace, the principle of one China is the political basis for the development of bilateral relations with all countries of China.
