The United States is trying to make it harder for the world to do business with Russia

Washington: The United States continues to work to make it harder for the world to do business with Russia.

“We are trying to make it harder for the world to do business with Russia,” Beth Vaughan, the US special envoy for international criminal justice, told a news conference.

The US ambassador said the Russian military was involved in war crimes in Ukraine, the United Nations had set up a commission to investigate the situation in Ukraine, and the United States was ready to assist a UN commission investigating war crimes.

Beth Van said that the United States has imposed economic sanctions on Russia, and now sanctions are being imposed on Russian military officials.

It should be noted that due to the attack on Ukraine, the UN General Assembly had suspended the membership of Russia’s Human Rights Council. The United States had presented a resolution against Russia justifying the attack on Ukraine.

Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Western nations have imposed sanctions on Moscow’s energy sector in a bid to weaken Russia’s economy and force it to end the war, but only recently. According to a report by the Center for Energy Research, despite all these restrictions, Russia is making a lot of money from the sale of oil and gas.
