The Tigres del Licey announced that they have released 11 players, including five pitchers, who can now sign with any Dominican winter baseball organization or from other countries.
The pitchers that the Baseball Operations department has dispensed with are Josías de los Santos, Jonathan Germán, Robinson Leyer, Eric Mariñez and José Mesa Jr.
Infielders Juan Kelly, Wander Javier, Manuel Gerardo, Osmy Gregorio and Jomar Reyes have also been removed from the blue ranks.
Gardener Mariel Bautista has also been released.
The general manager of the Tigres, Audo Vicente, thanked each of these players for the contributions they made to the Licey cause at the time and wished them the greatest success wherever they provide their services.
The Tigres Baseball Operations Office adopted this routine measure that is done annually to insert the new members of the franchise that will be received from the Dominican League Rookie Draw to be held in September.
