The Taliban government made a big offer to India

Kabul: The Taliban government has offered India to reopen its embassy in Kabul.

Sohail Shaheen, a spokesman for the Taliban’s political office in Qatar, offered to reopen India’s embassy in Kabul in an interview with an Indian agency, saying full security would be provided to Indian diplomatic staff in Afghanistan.

“There are many embassies operating in Afghanistan and they have been given full security. It is the responsibility of our government to provide full protection to all foreign diplomats working in Afghanistan,” he said.

Sohail Shaheen said that India should establish relations with the present Taliban government on the basis of national and mutual interests, adding that if India wanted to complete ongoing projects in Afghanistan or launch new projects, it would be welcomed.
