Riyadh: Saudiization has also been announced in the field of laboratory, X-ray and physiotherapy in Saudi Arabia.
According to Arab media reports, Saudi Minister for Manpower and Social Welfare, Population Engineer Ahmed Al-Rajhi, said that Saudiization will also take place in the fields of laboratory, X-ray and physiotherapy.
The report states that Saudiization will be implemented in phases starting from April 2022.
Saudiization in these areas will be done in all regions of the country. The Ministry of Manpower has set a monthly basic salary of 7,000 riyals for a specialist for Saudiization and 5,000 riyals for a technician.
These occupations will employ 60% of local employees, while the second sector for Saudis includes medical equipment and its manufacture and sale.

In the said sector, 40% has been fixed in the first phase of Saudiization while 80% has been fixed in the second phase.
It should be noted that the decision of Saudiization in these professions will provide employment opportunities to 8,500 Saudis, which will also significantly reduce the unemployment rate.
It should also be noted that the pay policy of Saudiization in the fields of pharmacy and dentistry in the country has been amended, now the minimum salary scale in both professions has been fixed at seven thousand riyals.
