The sale of Valencia is confirmed

The transfer market in European football continues to be the scene of intense negotiations and one of the latest cases to cause a stir is the possible transfer of Koba Koindredi from Valencia to Sporting de Portugal. Both clubs are in talks but things seem to have stalled at the moment.

Sporting de Portugal have expressed strong interest in midfielder Koba Koindredi, who is currently on loan at Estoril. Valencia, in turn, have valued the player at 10 million euros and would be willing to sell 50% of his economic rights for five million euros. Sporting has no problem paying this amount, but is seeking a higher percentage of the player in question.

According to newspaper MARCA, the key to the operation lies in whether Valencia is willing to give up another 30% of the player in exchange for the five million offered for half of his rights. The talks are at an impasse as both clubs weigh up their options and consider how to proceed.

Problems for Valencia's interests

This transfer has significant implications for Valencia, as with the income generated the club could take on half of the signing of Rafa Mir, who wants to leave Sevilla and is popular with coach Baraja. Jorge Mendes, Mir's agent, is working to facilitate the operation.

Despite Peter Lim's apparent instruction not to spend any money in this market window, the possible sale of Koba Koindredi could change the situation and open the door for new arrivals in Valencia during this winter market.
