Vermont: In the American city of Rutland, a ruthless man killed his mother while she was fishing and threw her into the sea.

Nathan Carmen, a 28-year-old U.S. citizen, killed his mother, Linda Carmen, and threw her into the sea to seize the family’s property, according to details.

Nathan Carmen was arrested Tuesday and charged with six counts, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Prosecutors said in a statement that Carmen had earlier shot and killed his grandfather, John Chuckalos, at his home in Windsor in 2013. The new indictment alleges that Carmen killed him. He has killed two of his relatives to get money and other property.

According to prosecutors, Carmen also tried to defraud the company with which he had insured his boat.

According to prosecutors, Carmen faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted of murder, with up to 30 years in prison on each of the fraud charges.

Carmen will be arraigned in Vermont on Wednesday.
