Motoring has been the protagonist in the Congress of Deputies. The Carrera de San Jerónimo has been visited by the regional motoring federations, who have exposed their reality to the different parliamentary groups. In full development of the new Sports Law Project, the temperature of the territorial entities has been taken, who have exposed their situation and different problems.
The Confederation of Unions of Autonomous Federations, CUFADE, has summoned deputies, senators and general directors of Sport from the whole of the State to explain the situation of the regional sports federations and their clubs after the modification of article 32.4 of Law 10/1990 of single licence, the importance of the 2018 Constitutional Court ruling and the current judicial conflict. The most paradigmatic cases are sports dance, triathlon, paddle tennis and motor racing.
This last sport has been chosen for the occasion, and most of the territorial presidents have attended the event (Aragón, Asturias, Canarias, Cantabria, Cataluña, Castilla y León, Galicia, Navarra and the Basque Country), and several sport secretaries autonomous. They have exposed their different problems and have asked for solutions in the new law that is being processed.
“Entities give their best version when working from consensus. And we cannot break the consensus that elite sport has to help grassroots sport”, explained Vicente Martínez, vice-president of CUFADE.
