The Association of Hotels and Tourist Companies of Samaná (Ahetsa) and the Tourist Cluster of Samaná re-elected their presidents Juan Bancalari and Jesús Durán respectively, last Friday, when holding the annual ordinary general assemblies of members.
Both under the formula of teamwork achieved successful efforts, by increasing the number of members and institutional strengthening in these organizations. It is also important to highlight the joint work with the public sector of the province for the development of this destination.
One of the great achievements of these organizations, after several years of hard work, is the start-up of the works that are included in the Comprehensive Tourism Development Plan for Samaná, work that was carried out in conjunction with the Ministry of Tourism. (Mitur), the Directorate of Project Planning (DPP) and the Executing Committee of Infrastructures of Tourist Zones (Ceiztur), as well as, mayors and directors of municipal districts of the province and presented to the tourism cabinet.
