A policeman in India publicly beat up his wife and her friend.
According to Indian media reports, the husband of a police constable in the state of Telangana tortured his wife, a female teacher and an assistant working with him.
The policeman suspected that the wife and her friend were having an illicit relationship, on which he tortured both of them and paraded them in the village.
The husband alleged that the wife had been asked to end her friendship with Nagendra but there was no change in her behavior, following which he took this step.
According to the report, Naginder is posted as an assistant in Zila Parishad High School.
The police officer later handed over the wife’s friend to the police, the police said that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
