In Myanmar, the death toll from the military regime’s aerial bombardment of a village has risen to 100.
According to a foreign news agency, the army carried out airstrikes in the north-western region of Sagaing, Myanmar on Tuesday, targeting the village of Balu in Sagaing.
A statement from military chief Junta confirmed the attack, with a government spokesman alleging that it was the opening ceremony of the rebel group’s office in the village of Pazigi that was attacked.
According to eyewitnesses, about half an hour after the plane was bombed, a helicopter opened fire. About 150 people had gathered for the opening ceremony.
The government spokesman says that the dead include women, children and pregnant women, on the other hand, the United Nations, the United States and other countries have strongly condemned this attack.
