Operation Yields Arrests and Seizures
During the raids, police arrested eight individuals, including a Brazilian citizen who attempted to escape from custody but was quickly apprehended by officers. The arrested individuals were brought before the courts, with seven sentenced to prison terms ranging from 2 to 3 years. The eighth individual, a teenager, received a sentence requiring socio-educational measures.
One Suspect Linked to International Criminal Organisations
According to the Ministry of Interior, one of the convicted individuals is believed to be linked to international criminal organisations. The operation was a significant success in the fight against drug trafficking in the region.
