The man who killed a 22-year-old young man in 2022 was sentenced to 16 years in prison. May 18th.
At that time, the 37-year-old’s defense pleaded self-defense, but the public prosecutor’s investigation revealed that it was a murder aggravated by brutal cruelty, and the judiciary announced the verdict this Monday.
The public prosecutor’s office will appeal against the precautionary measure imposed on the man until the verdict is final, since he asked for a prison sentence but the judge set, among other things, house arrest.
Sources in the case told News Agency that the man’s lawyers will seek his legitimate defense.
The event occurred on Sunday, July 31, 2022, when the young man was leaving his grandmother’s house on Caraguatá and Alemanya streets, in the San Isidro district. The young man came out with a kitchen that was loud Office of the Attorney General and the defense of the victim was his property.
