The judiciary charged him with an ankle bracelet for 150 days

The 43-year-old was accused of sexually abusing his two nieces in the town of Cerro Chato de Paysandú when they were still minors.

The case has arrived justice of Paysandú in May 2023, when the sisters, now 14 and 24 years old, reported the abuse they suffered as children at the hands of their uncle.

Both victims were in the man’s care on the orders of the judiciary following a complaint against the minor’s mother.

Both said that the now 43-year-old man sexually abused them while threatening to kill them. The complainants said the uncle gave them grass tea to drink, which made them sleepy.

They added that the man performed rituals with salts and incense burners. They became unwell and lost consciousness.

The investigation conducted by the public prosecutor’s office made it possible to charge the defendant with repeated crimes of sexual abuse, violent indecent assault and contempt.

As a precautionary measure, the judiciary ordered that the defendant be placed on an electronic ankle bracelet for 150 days and banned from approaching or communicating with the victims. However, the distances at Cerro Chato did not allow compliance with the measures, police sources told Blaze Trends.
