The judiciary in Iran sentenced Faiza Hashemi Rafsanjani, the daughter of former Iranian President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, to 5 years in prison.
According to the local website Barsina, a court held a hearing on Sunday to consider the charges against Faiza Hashmi Rafsanjani and sentenced the former president’s daughter to 5 years in prison.
Earlier, an Iranian court sentenced Faiza Hashemi Rafsanjani to 6 months in prison and banned her from political, cultural and journalistic activities for 5 years for committing the crime of propaganda activities against the government.
