The iOS 15 Public Beta Is Here: Here's How To Download And Install It

iOS 15 is here! Well, almost. The iPhone update presented at WWDC 2021 is available since June 30 in a public beta. for multiple iPhones and iPods, as well as for iPad with iPadOS 15.

iOS 15 introduces new features for FaceTime calling, tools to reduce distractions, a new notifications experience, additional privacy features, complete overhauls for Safari, Weather and Maps, and much more.

If you want to download and install an iOS beta, the following process will be explained.

How do I install iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 public beta?

The public beta is being released. If you’re having trouble accessing the Apple website, keep trying. Apple’s servers are overloaded.

Start by registering your iPhone or iPad at the public beta program. You will need to use Safari on your iPhone or iPad to visit this page. If you’ve participated in the public beta before, sign in with the same Apple ID you used before. Otherwise, click the Register button and follow the instructions. Of course, you’ll need to log in with the same Apple ID you use on your iPhone or iPad.

Now that you are logged in, click on the appropriate system version for your device. For example, click iOS if you are registering your iPhone or iPadOS if you are registering your iPad. In the section To start, there will be a link with the title Register your device; you just need to click on it. Read Apple’s instructions, which include the same basic but important tips: create a backup before proceeding, charge your device enough. Once your device is saved, install the beta profile by pressing the blue Download profile button.

Once the iOS 15 beta profile is installed on your iPhone, you will be prompted to restart your iPhone. Do that and go to iPhone settings again, on the General tab, then Software Update. You will then be able to download the iOS 15 beta as a simple OTA (over the air) update.

It’s a pretty big download, so make sure you have a reliable Wi-Fi connection. We also recommend that you connect your phone to a charger to ensure your device does not run out of power.
