Of a foreign news agency According to the report India has once again sent a team of experts to Kabul for its diplomatic presence in Afghanistan, which has reactivated the Indian embassy last year.

According to Indian media, there have been several behind-the-scenes meetings between the ruling Taliban in Afghanistan and New Delhi in recent weeks, paving the way for Indian officials to return to Kabul.

A team of Indian experts arrived in Kabul on Thursday, the Indian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, adding that the team had been sent to the embassy.

The Indian Foreign Ministry said the team’s work would oversee the delivery of humanitarian aid and play a role in liaising between agencies working in this regard.

The Indian Foreign Ministry said the move was a continuation of historical ties and contacts with the Afghan people, but did not mean that India was going to recognize the Taliban government in Afghanistan.

According to media reports, a team of Indian experts arrived in Kabul on an Air Force plane carrying aid to those affected by the recent earthquake in Afghanistan.
