Ferrari, the most successful team in Formula 1 history, is currently entering its 15th season without winning a title, and that streak looks set to continue as the Scuderia sits a distant fourth in the Constructors’ Championship. after five rounds in 2023.

Alonso was close to returning success to Maranello since Ferrari won the Constructors’ title in 2008, taking two title fights to the end in 2010 and 2012. However, Ferrari has not been able to compete in a championship until the end of the season since, with inconsistent car development, mistakes of strategy and reliability issues being pointed out as the three key areas where it has failed.
