Ranji Trophy 2024 Semi-Final Teams: The fight for Ranji Trophy 2024 has reached its final phase. The four teams in the semi-finals have been determined. The quarterfinal match between Mumbai and Baroda ended in a draw. But due to the lead in the first innings, the Mumbai team qualified for the semi-finals. Mumbai reached the semi-finals
In the quarterfinal match, the Mumbai team batted first and scored 384 runs, after which the Baroda team could only score 348 runs in the first innings. After that, Mumbai had a lead of 36 runs based on the first innings, which enabled them to reach the semi-finals. The Mumbai team scored 569 runs in the second innings. After that, Baroda set a target of winning by 606 runs, after which the Baroda team could only score 121 runs for a loss of 3 wickets and the match ended in a draw.
Musheer Khan scored a double century
Musheer Khan gave a strong performance in the match. In the first game he pitched 203 innings. He was awarded the Player of the Match award. Mumbai started the final day with 379 runs for nine wickets with Tanush Kotian scoring 32 and Tushar Deshpande 23 runs. Both added 232 runs in 240 balls for the tenth wicket. Both missed a run to break Ajay Sharma and Maninder Singh’s record of highest partnership for the tenth wicket. Kotian remained unbeaten with 120 runs in 129 balls while Deshpande scored 123 runs in 129 balls.
These four teams reached the semi-finals
Teams from Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh have reached the semi-finals of the Ranji Trophy 2024. Vidarbha will face Madhya Pradesh in the first semi-final on March 2. Mumbai will face Tamil Nadu in the second semi-final on March 2. The final will take place between March 10th and 14th.
