The first signing of Valencia is coming

Pepelu’s transfer from Levante UD to Valencia CF seems to be getting closer to completion, as reported by Felipe Miñambres, sports director of the granota club. In statements made this Friday morning, he stated that the positions between the two teams had moved away, but new information reveals that the differences have been overcome and that the agreement is on the way.

Although it has not been officially finalized yet, this progress could be the definitive step for the midfielder to become Valencia CF’s first signing for the 23/24 season. Levante UD, for their part, needs to generate economic income and both Pepelu and De Frutos are players who could provide them with a significant sum of money.

In a recent press conference, Miñambres made it clear that all Levante players are for sale, which shows the club’s need to obtain financial resources. With this transfer, Valencia CF would be able to close the signing of a footballer who has been international in lower categories and who has been a key player for Levante in their Second Division season.

Pepelu, for his part, has expressed his desire that Levante receive at least the amount stipulated in his termination clause, so that the club can obtain significant money to face its serious financial problems. This transfer would be beneficial both for the player, who would take a step forward in his career, and for Levante, who would get a necessary economic injection.
