Rajasthan beat Mumbai by 9 wickets, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a century after Sandeep’s ‘claws’.

Rajasthan Royals defeated Mumbai Indians by 9 wickets. Batting first, MI had scored 179 runs in 20 overs. Tilak Verma and Nihal Vadhera played brilliant innings for Mumbai. The Rajasthan team, which had come to chase the target, got off to a great start as Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal took the team’s score to over 60 in the powerplay over. Within the next 5 overs the team had scored 56 runs and now Rajasthan needed just 29 runs in the last 30 balls. The game had become one-sided as RR only needed to score 10 runs in 18 balls to win. Sanju Samson also made an important contribution to RR’s win by playing an innings of 38 runs off 27 balls. In the end, Jaiswal scored the winner with a four and secured Rajasthan victory by 9 wickets.

There is chaos in Mumbai Indians’ bowling

When the game resumed after the rain, the Mumbai Indians bowlers were hit more frequently. The only wicket for Mumbai was taken by Piyush Chawla who scored 33 runs in 4 overs. Nuwan Thosehara made his IPL debut in this match but gave away 28 runs in just 3 overs. Hardik Pandya tried to be very active in his bowling but couldn’t take a wicket. Even the sharp bowling of Jasprit Bumrah and Gerald Coetzee couldn’t do much for Mumbai this time.
