According to Israeli sources reported by various local media outlets, Iran launched an attack against Israel using dozens of suicide drones. The extent of the attacks and whether the drones hit Israeli military or civilian targets is unknown.
The Israeli army is mobilized and on alert and all anti-aircraft defenses are stationed in strategic locations, military sources announced on Saturday.

The American newspaper The Wall Street Journal indicated on Friday that Israel was already expecting an Iranian offensive and that it would probably take place in the last hours of the day or on Saturday. Likewise, the United States assured, in the words of its President Joe Biden, that the Iranian offensive against Israeli territory would be carried out “sooner rather than later” anyway.
The attack on Israeli territory can be described as expected as tensions between the two countries had increased in recent days. After the explosion at the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, vowed retaliation, to which Israel’s foreign minister responded: “If we attack our territory, we will attack you on your territory.”
