The Dakar 2023 resumes action this Tuesday with several Argentines competing

The ninth special stage of the 2023 Dakar Rally -which will be a little shorter than the last ones- will see the action return after the rest day on Monday, in which the drivers attended the press and recovered their energy.

Thus, with six more stages, the desert of the Arabian Peninsula will define the name of the winners in the different categories.

For the return to the competition this Tuesday there will be 686 kilometers -358 timed and two other links of 328 kilometers- which the pilots must complete from Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, until they reach the city of Haradh.

Throughout the entire circuit, the participants will have a large part of the terrain with earth, which will be combined with a little sand and some dunes.

The general motorcycle classification led by the American Skyler Howes (Husqvarna) has the Argentines Kevin Benavides (second, this Monday he turned 34), Luciano Benavides (11th), Franco Caimi (15th) and Stefano Caimi (29th).

For his part, Manuel Andújar, from Lobo, quad champion in 2021, is in third place in the general table, 1h41m37s behind the leader Alexandre Giroud.
