The ACS Group has been awarded the contract to renovate a hospital in Australia for more than 400 million euros

The ACS Group, through its subsidiary CIMIC, has been awarded the contract to renovate Australia’s Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA), the center’s largest project in its 140-year history and estimated to be worth more than €407 million, according to industry sources Euros (600 million Australian dollars).

According to the Australian company, construction is scheduled to begin in 2024 and be completed in 2028.

The scope of work includes the construction of a new 15-storey building adjacent to the existing hospital as well as vertical and horizontal expansion of the existing hospital structure in Camperdown, Sydney.

CIMIC Executive President and ACS CEO Juan Santamaría has indicated that the renovations will allow us to continue to provide advanced healthcare services to the local community and patients in New South Wales, Australia.

The group hopes to work with the New South Wales Government to develop this hospital redevelopment, which is expected to result in minimal disruption to operations, while it has committed $940 million to the redevelopment of the Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital, new construction of a hospital building and Renovation of existing rooms.
