Sunil Gavaskar made a big statement about Rohit Sharma’s explosive tackles, know what he said

In the eight-pack game between India and Australia played at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur on Friday, captain Rohit Sharma wowed the audience by hitting four fours and four sixes in his unbeaten innings of 46 runs on 20 balls with a strike rate of 230. Also the team won the second match. In Friday’s match, Rohit surged through the innings and overtook New Zealand starter Martin Guptill to become the cricketer to hit the most sixes in men’s T20 cricket.

India’s great batsman, Sunil Gavaskar, was thoroughly impressed by Rohit’s innings and led his way with the bat in pursuit of the 91-run target. He said the right-handed hitter played with attitude and selected his shot.

Gavaskar was quoted by Star Sports after the match as saying: “What you saw with Rohit today (Friday’s match) was a measured approach. It wasn’t something he was looking to defend. He helped the team win. Great effort.”

Also, Gavaskar had asked Rohit to take care of a few things to avoid leaving early. “Where he gets in trouble, he plays offside. He also hits the ball in the air, that’s the only thing I told him to focus on,” he said.

With India winning Friday’s match, the three-match series is now tied 1-1, with Sunday’s match in Hyderabad being the final match of the series.
