Summit will promote regulations on digital content

At the XXVIII (Twenty-eighth) Ibero-American Summit, which will be held in Santo Domingo, on March 24 and 25, the 22 nations represented by their heads of State and Government will assume commitments on digital rights and their contents, the food safety and environmental protection.

Experts who participated in the panel “XXVIII Ibero-American Summit in Santo Domingo: Moment of transformations and new geopolitics”, this Thursday, March 16, presented the regulations that will be part of the Final Declaration and the working documents submitted for discussion for approval.

The Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (Funglode) organized the meeting together with Fundación Alternativas, from Spain, represented by Vicente Palacio, director of Foreign Policy of the institution. Marco Herrera, executive director of Funglode, highlighted the new contribution made by the institution, as a think tank that promotes specific reflections on the reality of Latin America and the world. Together with Herrera, the activity was organized from Funglode by Stephanie Rodríguez, an analyst and researcher on international issues at the Unit for Analysis and Special Projects (UNAPE) and Triana Aybar.
