Stage 11: classifications of the day and that is how the general of the Giro remains

One more day without respite in the Giro d’Italia. The rain did not stop, falls continued to be the order of the day… and one of the favourites, Tao Geoghegan Hart, ended up in an ambulance. The Briton, winner of the 2020 edition, was running third overall. It’s still an elimination race between COVID casualties, falls, dropouts for other reasons… and Thomas continues to lead. The also Ineos runner, like Tao, was involved in the fall along with Roglic, but these two were able to continue without problem. Meanwhile, Tao ended up in an ambulance and transferred to the hospital. Another Spaniard, Oscar Rodríguez, also abandoned after an ugly fall in the first casualty of Movistar so far in the race.
