IPL 2024 SRH vs MI: The 8th match of IPL 2024 was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians teams at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. In this match, many major IPL records were broken and the highest score was also achieved. In this match, both teams combined to score 523 runs. Previously, 500 runs had not been scored in any IPL game. In this match, Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 31 runs.

Hyderabad scored the highest in the IPL

In this match, Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 277 runs for three wickets against Mumbai Indians first, which is a new record in the Indian Premier League IPL. Previously, no team had achieved such a high score in an IPL match. The Sunrisers batsmen scored great runs from start to finish, helping their team surpass the RCB record of 263 runs for five wickets in 2013 against Pune Warriors.

In this match, Travis Head scored 62 runs in 24 balls with the help of nine fours and three sixes while Abhishek Sharma scored 63 runs in 23 balls including three fours and seven sixes. With both out, Heinrich Klaasen scored an unbeaten 80 runs off 34 balls. This included four fours and seven sixes. Aiden Markram then scored an unbeaten 42 off 28 balls. Markram hit two fours and a six. An unbroken partnership of 116 runs on 55 balls was also observed between Klaasen and Markram.

The Mumbai Indians batsmen gave their full effort

Even though Sunrisers Hyderabad had set a target of 278 runs. However, the Mumbai Indians batsmen also put in a brilliant performance but missed their target by 31 runs. Rohit Sharma scored 26 runs in 12 balls for Mumbai. On the other hand, Ishan Kishan gave the team a quick start by scoring 34 runs in 13 balls. After that, Naman Dheer scored 30 runs in 14 balls. Tilak Verma was the team’s top run-scorer. He scored 64 runs off 34 balls. Tim David, on the other hand, remained unbeaten after scoring 42 runs off 22 balls.
