Squid Game valued at $ 900 million

Today’s most successful Squid Game series was valued at $ 900 million.

The assessment is made by Netflix itself according to some internal documents of the streaming platform that have now been revealed.

The Bloomberg news agency advances that Netflix’s most successful current series is valued at $ 900 million. The agency had access to internal documents from the streaming platform that account for the amounts referred.

The same documents also reveal that the production of the series cost Netflix approximately 21.4 million. Doing the math, we can say that the success of Squid Game will be significantly reflected in Netflix’s revenue.

According to these internal documents, around 132 million people watched at least two minutes of the series in the first 23 days. This number of viewers alone breaks the record previously set by British drama Bridgerton, which recorded 82 million views in its first 28 days.

Netflix had previously announced that the series had 111 million fans, but the Bloomberg news agency says the number is already out of date as it is based on older data.

Netflix declined to comment on this news, saying that the now-released documents contain sensitive data that must remain confidential.
