Siri, Arozarena, Raley Homer and Rays beat Blue Jays 6-4

Jose Siri, Randy Arozaena and Luke Raley homered as the major league-leading Tampa Bay Rays beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-4 on Monday.

Tampa Bay (35-14) leads the majors with 94 home runs. The Rays lead the Baltimore Orioles by three games in the AL East.

After starter Trevor Kelley pitched two scoreless innings. Josh Fleming (1-0) allowed two runs on five hits over the next six innings as the Rays improved to 22-4 at home.

Tropicana Field gained a season-low number of fans of 8,857. Tampa Bay began the day averaging 18,045 in attendance, ranking 10th in the American League.

Chris Bassitt (5-3) pitched 28 scoreless innings before the Rays added three runs in the second. He allowed a total of six runs—two earned—and seven hits in 6 1/3 innings.

For the Blue Jays, the Dominican Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 4-1.

For the Rays, the Cubans Yandy Díaz 3-0 with a score, Randy Arozarena 4-2 with two runs scored and one RBI. The Dominicans Wander Franco 4-2, José Siri 3-1 with a run scored and two RBIs. Mexican Isaac Paredes 4-1 with an RBI.
