During an event held this Wednesday in Málaga, Forum Transfer handed out the prizes for the VIII Journalism Award with which this professional forum supports scientific, technological and innovative communication carried out by journalists.
Sinc’s award-winning report was ‘This scientist has developed a kit that detects antibiotic resistance in less than 2 hours’
The winner in the category of written works was the journalist Alberto Payo, collaborator of Sinc, for his work for the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
The Audience Award went to Javier Oliva Ramírez of Canal Sur Radio, and among the finalists was another Sinc contributor, Alejandro Muñoz.
In the audiovisual category, the RTVE work A mi manera by Mónica Lázaro, María García and Antonio Matesanz was awarded.
For his part, Jesús Román Escudero from Radio Castilla-La Mancha Media, with his piece Mathematics to protect our hearts, received the award for radio works.
