Simeone continues without recovering troops

Injuries are one of Atlético’s great evils. Season after season, physical problems hinder the rojiblanca squad and, despite competing for a single title since January, the casualties continue to accumulate in LaLiga.

Looking ahead to Sunday’s match against Osasuna (4:15 p.m.), Cholo still has six absences: Oblak and Reinildo will miss the remainder of the course unless the Slovenian improves greatly. Lemar suffered a physical problem in Elche that could also miss him the last four days of the League. Memphis works to at least be able to close the campaign and Savic and Llorente progress adequately from their ailments. In the case of the man from Madrid, he touches the ball and can already be seen alone at a good pace.

But in Thursday’s session he was still unable to join his teammates and will be out against the Navarrese team. There are only two training days left and Simeone will arrive with what he has. There is a doubt in the eleven, precisely the space that Lemar leaves after five starts in a row. Pablo Barrios takes the lead to be his substitute, with Correa as plan B. Saúl for his part has been relegated to a third way although the casualties are concentrated in his position. Thus, the eleven that Simeone will line up against Osasuna could be made up of Oblak; Nahuel Molina, Witsel, Gimenez, Hermoso, Carrasco; DePaul, Koke, Pablo Barrios; Griezmann and Morata.
