Sharp has officially unveiled its new AQUOS Sense 10 smartphone in Japan, a device engineered for durability while boasting a powerful new processor and an advanced display.
The new AQUOS Sense 10 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, manufactured on a 4-nanometer process. This 8-core CPU delivers speeds up to 2.5 GHz, a 20% increase over the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 found in its predecessor, the AQUOS Sense 9.
Its graphical processing unit (GPU) offers a 40% speed boost, and AI processing is 30% faster compared to the previous model. This aims for enhanced performance across applications and gaming.
The phone features a 6.1-inch Pro IGZO OLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It supports a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals, with multi-level refresh rates adaptable up to 240 Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,500 Nits.
Built for resilience, the AQUOS Sense 10 carries a MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standard. It also meets IPX5, IPX8, and IP6X ratings, ensuring protection against dust and water immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
For photography, the device is equipped with a 50.3-megapixel main camera and a 32-megapixel front camera. Both cameras are enhanced with AI features designed to improve photo and video clarity.
A robust 5,000 mAh battery powers the smartphone, which Sharp claims can support 10 hours of daily use on a single full charge. The phone runs on the Android 16 operating system.
Storage configurations include up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Connectivity options comprise Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC.
Additional features include face and fingerprint recognition, dual speakers, and eight built-in image filters.
The AQUOS Sense 10 is scheduled to launch in Japan on November 13, 2025. It will be available in six color variations: Denim Navy, Khaki Green, Pale Pink, Pale Mint, Full Black, and Light Silver.
Pricing for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage model is 62,700 Japanese Yen (approximately $402 USD). The 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version costs 69,300 Japanese Yen (approximately $444 USD).
Sharp also plans to expand sales of the AQUOS Sense 10 to Taiwan, Indonesia, and Singapore in the near future. Silicone cases tailored to each color will be sold, alongside special edition cases created in collaboration with Japanese brands SPINGLE, KOJIMA GENES, and BLUE SAKURA.
