Sevilla want to strengthen their attack with a current American champion

Sevilla are looking to strengthen their squad for next season and one of the names on the club’s agenda is Colombian Jhon Arias from Brazil’s Fluminense. Estadio Deportivo announced that Sevilla have made an offer for the right winger in order to bring his balance and goalscoring abilities to the team.

However, Sevilla face a significant challenge if they are to complete the signing of Arias. Fluminense have no intention of simply letting him go and have set an initial price of €20 million for any negotiations. That figure could prove a difficult obstacle for Sevilla, especially at a time when the club’s finances are strained.

Fluminense will not sell Arias at a low price

Brazilian sources close to Fluminense confirm that the club would only consider Arias’ departure for a significant sum, no less than 10 million euros, which is the starting point for any negotiations. This presents a dilemma for Sevilla, who could only consider spending such an amount if they make significant sales and decide to reinvest some of those funds into improving their squad, possibly including selling players like En-Nesyri .

With interest from several European clubs as well as Zenit and Galatasaray, competition for Arias could intensify. Sevilla will need to carefully consider their strategy and available resources if they want to secure the signing of the talented Colombian winger and strengthen their squad for next season.
