ABU DHABI: During the ongoing heat wave in the United Arab Emirates, the number of patients suffering from heat stroke has increased in hospitals.
According to Arab media, the United Arab Emirates is in the grip of extreme heat these days and the temperature has reached 50 degrees Celsius and the citizens are suffering from heat stroke due to heat stroke.
According to the report, the doctor of the local hospital said that due to the extreme heat in recent days, the number of people affected by heat stroke is increasing rapidly in the hospitals, among which people suffering from heart diseases are more affected by the heat.
He said that mainly people working outside in the sun are getting affected, but the number of cases of severe heatstroke has decreased due to the afternoon break for outdoor workers.
