Several vehicles woke up in a 15-meter-wide crater. RESICO officials said that the accident took place due to heavy rains.
In the pictures circulating on social media, people can be seen calling out to their loved ones in distress at the accident site.
Rescue teams have closed the area to traffic and measures are being taken to prevent further damage to the affected area.
