“Selfish” started trending as soon as Kohli reached his century. Do you know why Virat is trolled?

Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 183 runs in the first match against Rajasthan Royals. In this match, Virat Kohli became the center of attention as he played an unbeaten innings of 113 in 72 balls and scored the 8th century of his IPL career. Kohli had completed his century in 67 balls and it was actually thanks to his innings that RCB was able to reach the score of 183 runs. Despite this, people often troll Kohli on social media by calling him ‘selfish’. Even one said that Virat only plays for himself and the team is not important to him.

Virat Kohli has also been criticized in the past for his slow innings, but against Rajasthan Royals he had a strike rate of around 157. A fan called Kohli “selfish” and also claimed that because of Virat, the pressure on Faf du Plessis has increased, as a result of which he lost his wicket. Let us tell you that Du Plessis is known for his explosive hitting but against Rajasthan he needed 33 balls to score 44 runs and his strike rate was 133 which is low for a batsman of his kind.

Kohli is also called selfish because he started batting very slowly between 90 and 100 runs. Let us tell you that Kohli was first in terms of playing the slowest century innings. Previously, this seemingly useless record belonged to the name of Manish Pandey, who had scored a century in 67 balls against the Deccan Chargers in 2009 while playing for RCB. Well, on the one hand, Kohli is being trolled, but on the other hand, many people are also supporting him. On one hand, Kohli scored 113 runs in 72 balls while the rest of the players scored 59 runs in 48 balls.
