Due to the stupidity of a security guard in Haiti, 145 female inmates managed to escape from a prison, killing one policeman and injuring three others.
According to the French news agency AF, the head of Haiti’s prison administration, Pierre René Francois, said that 145 of the 230 female prisoners in the prison escaped.
He said that out of 145 women prisoners who had escaped, 3 women prisoners were recaptured, during which one woman who was suffering from asthma died.
He further informed that one policeman was killed and 3 were injured in the escape of the prisoners.
According to preliminary investigations, a guard made the mistake of opening the detention complex when the number of guards was extremely low, taking advantage of which the women inmates had an opportunity to escape.
