Second day of the I Digital Nautical Trophy in Abra

The 1st Digital Nautical Trophy, organized by the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club, faces its second day this Saturday in the Biscayan waters of the Abra. The departure for the J80 division boats will be at 11:00, while the crews of the Regatta and Cruise class boats will sail from 12:00. This championship, in which one day has already taken place, consists of four scoring events, since it will also be held on February 5 and 19. After the premiere of this new competition, the ‘Fhimasa Escuela de Vela José Luis de Ugarte’ in the J80 class; Alfonso Churruca’s ‘Alpega’ in the Regatta division; José Miguel Franco’s ‘Bacilón’ among the participants of Cruise I; and the ‘Kohen’ of Juan Carlos Estefanía in Cruise II, appear as the first leaders of the I Naútica Digital Trophy.

The ‘Fhimasa Escuela de Vela José Luis de Ugarte’, in the J80 class, is one point ahead of Félix Moneo’s ‘Kiwi’. They are followed in the classification by Ramón Zubiaga’s ‘Mandovi dalecandELA’, Pablo Gomeza’s ‘Obelix’, Ibon Basañez’s ‘Jet Set’, José Luis Ribed’s ‘Pilgrim’, Juan Mocoroa’s ‘Hib Brut’ and ‘Wilco’ by Diego Guardamino eighth.

Regatta and Cruise

Alfonso Churruca’s ‘Alpega’ is now first in the Regatta class. Also seeking victory, in a test that rewards regularity, are Mikel Emaldi’s ‘Maitena’, Mauricio Guibert’s ‘Akelarre’, Jon Garai’s ‘Thelonius’ and Javier García Peña’s ‘Modark’. In the Cruiser I class, José Miguel Franco’s ‘Bacilón’ took command, followed by Juan Manuel Pereiro’s ‘Kribi’, Koldo Báez’s ‘Marmotinha’ and Javier Trueba’s ‘Nexus’. The Cruiser II class is led by Juan Carlos Estefanía’s ‘Kohen’, with Ibon Galarraga’s ‘Free Booter’ second and Lucio Fernández’s ‘Emilu’ third.
