SCO Summit 2022: PM Modi met Russian President Putin on Friday at the ongoing SCO Summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. In this meeting, the Prime Minister discussed many topics with Putin. The eyes of the whole world were fixed on the meeting of the two leaders. The discussion was very positive. The two also discussed issues of crisis arising out of the Russo-Ukraine War. The two leaders discussed bilateral, regional and global issues. This is the first meeting between the two leaders since the war broke out in Ukraine in February this year. India has not criticized Russia for attacking Ukraine so far. India is emphasizing on resolving the crisis through dialogue. After the discussion, Putin also invited Modi to visit Russia.
