An agreement has also been reached with Elon Musk’s company SpaceX to send Saudi astronauts to the International Space Station.
Saudi officials say that there will be extensive cooperation between American private space companies and Saudi Arabia, while the decision to send the first Saudi woman to the space station is very important, for which preparations are being completed.
According to the official Arab news agency SPA, more details of the Saudi space mission will be released next month.
It should be noted that the United Arab Emirates is also expanding its space program, for which it is currently preparing to send a female astronaut, Noor Al Matrushi, to Mars.
