Riyadh: Under residency laws in Saudi Arabia, people who go out on a promise to return must return on time, failing which they are charged with a “perjury.”
The perpetrator is blacklisted in the country for three years, a law that applies to those working in the country on work visas.
Individuals who are included in the said restriction category are blocked in the licensing system, and those who are blocked are deported again if they come to the country within the stipulated period.
A man inquired from the permits, “The wife has gone on a promise to leave, she does not intend to return immediately. If I cancel the wife’s stay, can a visa be issued to her again?”
In response to a question, Jawazat said that such “Kharj-e-Walim-e-Yaad” law applies to persons residing on work visas, with the exception of associates.
It should be noted that in Saudi Arabia, under the rules of the Passport and Immigration Licensing Department, immigrants who do not return after leaving the country are charged with breach of promise.
Immigrants who reside in the country on work visas are blacklisted for 3 years if they are found to have breach of promise to leave, under which they cannot come on a new work visa within the stipulated period.
It may be recalled that in the past, the system of ‘Kharj Walam Yaad’ was also applied to females but later the females were declared exempt from it. Partners or subordinates may be called back for residency because they do not fall into this category.
In addition, under the Kharj-e-Walim-e-Yaad law, those who are subject to the said ban are allowed to come on the visa of the former sponsor during the ban, therefore, companions or followers are not included in this category.

Responding to a question, the licensors said that the process of copying information in the permit system of other passports can be completed through the licensing platform or the resident platform.
Permits added on Twitter that new passports could be fed into the data system through the licensing service “Tawasil” on the Abashria-based portal.
In addition to the renewed and old passport, the photo of the residence should be uploaded in the PDF file for data feeding.
Note that if the file to be uploaded is the same, if there is more than one, the system rejects it, due to which the process of copying information cannot be completed.
