Riyadh: Saudi officials have clarified how repatriation will be possible on expired residency, and what penalties may be imposed on renewal of residency.
According to the Saudi website, it is mandatory for foreign workers living in Saudi Arabia to keep their residency up to date. According to the law, if the residency expires, a fine of 500 riyals is imposed.
Officials say that if there is a delay in the renewal of residency for the second year, then a fine of 1000 riyals is imposed, while for the third time, the residency holder is deported according to the law.
Regarding residency and accommodation, a person found out from the permits that the sponsor has filed an application while he also has passport and accommodation. Û”
Answering the question, Jawazat said that in the said case, the Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare should approach the sub-agency where they should write the details of the case and apply so that they can find a suitable solution to the issue.

In this regard, the permits said that for an exit bath visa, the residence must be valid and its duration must be at least 60 days. After the residency is renewed, the final exit can be applied.
As far as the family fee is concerned, it must be paid.
The family fee is 400 riyals per month this year, pay 400 riyals per month for each individual and the residence can be renewed after paying the period of delay.
It should be noted that quarterly facility has been provided for the renewal of residence this year, under which the residence can be renewed after paying the residence fee and family fee for the said period.
