Actor Anil Kapoor, late film artist Satish Kaushik, actress Sridevi and Amrish Puri were present in the lead role of this film. But do you know that superstar Aamir Khan also wanted to be associated with ‘Mr. India’? But Satish Kaushik turned him down. Shekhar Kapur has recently revealed this.

Recently, Shekhar Kapur, director of ‘Mr India’, has given an interview to Times of India. During this, Shekhar Kapur said that Aamir Khan wanted to be associated with my film as an assistant director. Shekhar said that: ‘At that time, Aamir came to me in a car. He had a racket and shorts in hand, because he was coming straight from the game. Satish Kaushik was the chief deputy director for Mera Saath along with the role of Calendar in Mr. India.

He immediately rejected Aamir after seeing him. Satish believed that he would come by car as a junior assistant director. Although I did not have a car at that time. Due to this place, Aamir was unable to connect with Mr. India. Which, according to me, was a great decision.

Returning to his point of view, Shekhar Kapur has said that: ‘I highly appreciate that decision by Satish Kaushik. If Satish hadn’t turned Aamir down then, he might not have become a huge industry superstar today. I am very happy with the success of Aamir Khan and also with the decision that Satish has taken. In this way, Shekhar has said a lot about Aamir Khan.
