During this, Shekhar Kapur said that Aamir Khan wanted to be associated with my film as an assistant director. Shekhar said that: ‘At that time, Aamir came to me in a car. He had a racket and shorts in hand, because he was coming straight from the game. Satish Kaushik was the chief deputy director for Mera Saath along with the role of Calendar in Mr. India.
He immediately rejected Aamir after seeing him. Satish believed that he would come by car as a junior assistant director. Although I did not have a car at that time. Due to this place, Aamir was unable to connect with Mr. India. Which, according to me, was a great decision.
