San Lorenzo celebrated in a big way this Monday after beating Huracán 2-0 and winning the classic corresponding to date 20 of the women’s soccer tournament.
The game was played on the auxiliary field of the Nuevo Gasómetro and the goals for the Santitas were scored by Sindy Ramírez, at 54 minutes, and Rocío Vázquez, at 75.
With the victory, San Lorenzo reached 42 points and climbed to fourth position in the contest while Huracán stayed at 31 points and is in seventh position.
For its part, in another result of the day, Estudiantes de La Plata (25 points) thrashed the already relegated Deportivo Español (3) as a visitor by 7 to 1.
The twentieth date, the penultimate of the league, will be completed this Tuesday with the duel between Central (26 points) and Racing (41), from 3:00 p.m. in Rosario.
The title is a matter of two and will be defined on the last date -with days and times still to be confirmed- nothing less than with the crossing between both candidates. UAI Urquiza leads the contest with 55 units and will have to visit Boca, his escort with 53, to define the champions.
