Samsung’s The Movingstyle Smart TV: Portable QHD Touchscreen, Detachable, Adjustable Stand

Samsung is shaking up how we watch TV with its new “The Movingstyle” smart screen. This 2025 model launched recently in South Korea. It is designed to move around your home with ease. Picture a 27-inch display on a wheeled stand. This stand also adjusts its height. You can roll it from room to room without a hassle.

The Movingstyle comes after the Movingstyle Edge, which hit stores a few weeks ago. This new model costs $1,035. Samsung created it for people who want more flexibility than a fixed wall-mounted TV offers. It aims mainly at home users, not offices or schools.

Its 27-inch QHD touchscreen features a sharp 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution. You also get a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen can easily flip between vertical and horizontal positions. This makes it perfect for video streaming, scrolling through social media apps, or making video calls.

One neat trick is how the screen leaves its stand. You can detach it and carry it around like a large tablet. It even has a built-in handle and a kickstand. A rechargeable battery is inside, giving you up to three hours of use. You can power it up again with a USB-C cable.

Beyond the cool screen, this smart TV packs some solid tech. It includes 10W stereo speakers for good sound. For connecting, you get Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. There’s also an HDMI port and two USB-C ports. If you do a lot of video calls, Samsung offers a slim camera accessory. On the software side, it runs Tizen OS. You can use voice commands through Bixby and Google Assistant.

The Movingstyle takes inspiration from LG’s StanbyME but adds its own twists. Samsung improved the idea with a touchscreen and the clever detachable design. This really makes the TV more useful in different ways. For now, it’s only sold in South Korea. Samsung has not yet announced plans for an international release or when that might happen.
